If you’re looking for a way to make your writing activities a little more fun, how about printing some Halloween writing paper?
When you think of Halloween, the first words that come to mind are probably words like costumes, trick-or-treating, candy, etc.
While all of these are an important part of the Halloween experience, it can be fun to plan a few educational activities too.
…Such as writing!
Halloween is the perfect time of year to let your kids practice their writing skills.
Not only does it give them an opportunity to be creative, but it also gives them a chance to practice their handwriting, spelling, and grammar – without having to worry about being graded on their efforts.

Printable Halloween writing paper
There are 4 different printable Halloween paper designs to choose from.
Download your favorite or print them all!
Design #1: Features a big orange pumpkin
This design features a big orange pumpkin in the background because, let’s be honest, pumpkins are the main event. Other than candy of course.
There are also two creepy spiders dropping down on the left side of the page to add to the Halloween theme.
And, there’s a bright orange rounded border around the page. The border is thick enough that you can trim around it if you want, but it looks nice either way.
Design #2: Printable Halloween writing paper with a friendly spider
Out of all the popular Halloween colors, I really like this bright green border!
The design also has a big spider in the background, but no worries, it’s a friendly spider so you don’t have to worry about it being too spooky for younger kids too.
Design #3: Halloween balloons
The next design features some extra creepy Halloween balloons – Each one is a different Halloween color including orange, purple, and green.
As far as the border, this one has a pretty purple border that fits in well with the theme.
Design #4: Features some candy corn
Love it or hate it, candy corn has been a popular Halloween staple for decades.
It may not taste the best (although some would disagree), but the bright orange makes a really cute addition to a Halloween writing template.
This design is pretty similar to the other ones – You’ll find the same spooky spiders and a bold orange border as well.
